You will need to create a count job on the web app first under Inventory Count. For information about creating a count Job and assigning containers in the web app view this article Perform an Inventory Count.
Count Items in Assigned Containers
- In the handheld app, go to Inventory > Inventory Count.
- Scan the nearest warehouse location, closest container ID, and proceed to the prompted container.
- Scan the container ID.
- If you cannot scan the container ID, you can enter it manually. Press the [Manual container entry] button, enter the ID, and press the [Next] button.
- Scan the lot IDs for all items in the container.
- Note: If you have items stored within totes that are stored inside the container, do NOT scan those items. Since totes are containers, they must be added to the count job before being eligible for the count.
- If you cannot scan the Lot ID, you can enter it manually. Press the [Manual Lot entry] button, enter the Lot ID, and press the [Next] button.
- When finished, scan the container ID again or select the three dots in the top right corner and press [Next container].
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all containers in the count job are completed.
Check Count Progress
To check on the progress of a count job, select the desired job from the Inventory Count tool in the web app. Look to the progress graph at the bottom of the screen.
Check User Performance
To check the user performance on a count job, select the desired job from the Inventory Count tool in the web app. Look to the performance graphs at the bottom of the screen.
1. The counts side shows how many lots were counted by each user. Represented by the bar graph.
2. The Error % shows the % miscount rate by user. Represented by the line graph.
