Set Up RetailOps Legacy App on Handheld Consoles

Generate a New Auth Code

  1. In RetailOps, go to Administration > System Config > Manage Terminals.
  2. Press the [Register Terminal] button.
  3. Enter a descriptive Name.
  4. Set the Type to Console.
  5. Set the Facility where the device will be used.
  6. Make note of the Auth code.

Install the RetailOps App and Log In

  1. On the handheld console, download the RetailOps app at the Apple Store here and install it.
  2. Open the app. Enter valid user credentials as well as an auth code. Press the [Log In] button.
