How do I use dates effectively in formulas and filters?
In the Reporting tool, dates can be represented by up to 7 different date fields, consisting of the original date value and 6 variations that represent specific portions of the original date. For example, in the Lots Received data source, you have the following fields for “Date Created”:
- Date Created
- Date Created (PT).Date
- Date Created (PT).Day of Month
- Date Created (PT).Day of Week
- Date Created (PT).Month
- Date Created (PT).Month Number
- Date Created (PT).Year
In this example, the original date field listed first, “Date Created”, is a point-in-time field that indicates the exact second that a lot was created. This is useful for greater-than (>) or less-than (<) evaluation. By contrast, the other fields are useful for equality (=) tests.
Why are prices for items canceled in Channel Advisor being reported as $0?
When an item is canceled in Channel Advisor, CA indicates the cancellation by setting the Unit Price for the item to $0.
By contrast, items canceled in RetailOps retain the original Unit Price for the item.
Why are unit costs for canceled order items being reported as $0?
You should expect the unit cost for canceled order items to be $0. Unit costs are tied to Lot IDs. Lot IDs are not assigned to order items until the order enters the fulfillment process. When an order item is canceled, it is no longer in fulfillment, which means no Lot ID is assigned and thus no Unit Cost can be determined.
