Handheld Scanners

Hello,

We are having issues with scanners not holding a charge very long.  We mostly have Linea Pro with a few Honeywells.  What solutions, if any, have others used to resolve this issue?  Has anyone attempted to replace the battery in the iPod to see if that helps?

    Hi Matt,

     

    We have had to have almost all of the linea pro back to the manufacturer for repair at one stage or another - this has included replacing batteries in them.  The actual iPods have held up fine.  I know Apple is offering free battery replacements on a number of devices right now, it might be worth checking out the serial number with Apple and see if it is covered.
