RetailOps is proud to offer a direct integration with TaxJar for dynamic order tax calculation. TaxJar allows you to go beyond using a flat rate for all orders, and will dynamically calculate sales tax rates and calculations at the state, county city, and special taxing district level.
When creating a Customer Service or Point of Sale order in RetailOps, tax will be calculated automatically as items are added to the order. To learn more about TaxJar, please visit https://www.taxjar.com/ TaxJar presently supports tax calculation in the US, EU, and Canada.

Using the TaxJar in RetailOps
When you've enabled your TaxJar account, tax will be automatically calculated as you add/remove items on a Customer Service or Point of Sale order. When items are added, RetailOps uses the TaxJar SmartCalcs API to determine the proper tax amount for the order.
RetailOps also supports sending specific Product Tax Codes for each order item. If you'd like to calculate tax using SKU or Product level tax codes, add this value as an attribute to your RetailOps product catalog (this can be added at the SKU or Product level). Once you've added this attribute, contact RetailOps Support link this attribute to your TaxJar account.
*RetailOps is not a TaxJar reseller, please contact TaxJar with any account questions or issues.
