How do you change the cost of a drop shipped item AFTER it has been fulfilled.
Here is the scenario:
- A drop ship PO is created with a cost for SKU A of X based on the external inventory set for that SKU.
- The PO is submitted to the vendor and the item is shipped and tracking number is imported against the PO, effectively completing the purchase order and fulfilling the retail order.
- An invoice is then received that lists a different price for SKU A of Y.
How can you resolve that pricing discrepancy as there is no local inventory lot to simply update the cost on?

Thanks for the comment Quan. We did a fair amount of testing on this, and I not believe changing the cost on a PO that has already been completed changes the COGS for that item that comes across in the reporting. It's like that cost is logged for the "external lot" as soon as the PO is completed, and changing that cost does not come across in the reporting module.
I'm not 100% sure on this, as it has been a few months since I tested, but I'm high 90s. I can test this again if you guys need me to.
