Feature Request: Custom Gift Messaging Fields
Hi there,
I heard that there was a feature request in progress for a custom gift messaging field. Right now we cannot add gift messages to POS or Phone Orders. This is a concern for the holiday season.
If enabled, we could also hopefully use this field for personalization notes. Right now we have a pending request with RO to add "monogramming" field to the line item field.
Does anyone have an update on any of this?

Hello!
Ally with RetailOps here! Support for gift messaging is coming to RetailOps, but will be developed for each shop cart individually (such as Shopify, Magento, Channel Advisor, etc).
Shopify order gift messages currently print on packing slips, but are not visible in the UI just yet. Jason, pulling in the gift message from Magento would require a different request. Adding order level attributes to packing slips is a minor task.
Regarding merging of threads, unfortunately our Community Forum does not offer this feature yet, but please let us know if you need any assistance!
