Action Required for Older iOS Devices and the Legacy App by September 24, 2025
Hello All,
Starting September 24, 2025, new security certificates will be enforced. After this date, iOS devices from 2019 or earlier that cannot meet these requirements may no longer be able to connect to RetailOps apps.
These changes come from industry-wide security standards designed to keep systems and data safe. Unfortunately, older iOS devices have hardware limitations that prevent them from meeting these requirements. While we anticipated older hardware would eventually reach this point, the timing of this requirement was unforeseen.
Our recommendation is to upgrade to newer iOS or Android hardware and begin using the new WMS app. This is the most reliable and future-proof solution.
To provide a temporary runway, we have developed a workaround for some affected devices. Please follow the instructions here: [How to Install the Certificate on iOS Devices]. This solution is time-limited and may only be effective for up to one year.
